Cleaner

Cleaner: 12.5 hours per week

Required: As soon as possible

Pay Grade: NJC 8

We are looking to appoint a conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site by joining our cleaning team.

The role involves working as part of a team with responsibilities and tasks to include:

-       Cleaning such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc.

-       Taking rubbish out to the bins.

-       Ensuring a clean working environment for the children and staff of the school.

A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable.

Previous experience would be beneficial but training will be provided to the appropriate candidate.

The hours of working are Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 6:00pm.

Midday Supervisor

Required: As soon as possible

Pay Grade: NJC 11

The lunchtime experience should be a positive one in which our children should feel safe, socialise and enjoy themselves. We need hardworking and committed people to join our friendly school team. 

We are looking to recruit one person to join our regular team of Midday Supervisors and additional staff to work as relief Midday Supervisors.

The role involves working as part of a team with responsibilities and tasks to include:

  • Supervising the children during their meal, in the playground, classrooms, corridors, cloakrooms, toilets, etc.
  • Encouraging the children to eat their lunch.
  • Helping the children to play safely.
  • Supervising the children in a classroom during wet playtimes.
  • Administering first aid as appropriate.
  • Preparing rooms for dining, including setting out tables and chairs as appropriate.
  • Serving meals and water where required.
  • Clearing tables and collecting rubbish, washing and stacking away tables, chairs, water jugs and cleaning dining area as required.
  • Play leading and being a good role model for the children.

The working hours for this post are 11:55am to 1:05pm, Monday-Friday, term time only.
