Due to an increase in the number of classes, we are looking for an inspirational teacher for one of our Year 3/4 classes. This post would ideally suit an NQT. 

Ruskington Chestnut Street CofE Primary Academy is a good, forward thinking school continuing to improve. Our successful school has friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking children and fantastic facilities, which include an art studio, a technology room and two halls. The ideal candidate would be someone who is driven to make a positive impact on the learning of children through the use of effective and creative strategies. The successful candidate will be a passionate teacher who: 

  • Is efficient and well organised and has skills and talents to improve the learning of children.
  • Has high expectations of learning and behaviour both of themselves and the children in their care.
  • Has a caring and positive attitude.
  • Has a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is approachable for all children, staff and parents.
  • Has the ability to promote the school’s aims and values.
