The Spiritual Dimension.
Chestnut Street is a Church of England school – a title of which we are justifiably proud. We hold a daily act of collective worship; sometimes involving the whole school at one time but at other times celebrations are for separate key stages or even separate year groups. Over each term, each class leads an act of worship where parents are invited to join us and, in the Summer terms, we hold these services in the parish church of All Saints. We have strong connections with our church and our incumbent, Rev Canon Christine Pennock, who is a school governor and joins us for many events. We aim to provide a creative ethos in all areas of life at Chestnut Street, which will enable us to have care, pride and responsibility in this Church of England school.
